The PDA licence enables field staff with mobile devices such as Blackberry, iPhone and Windows Mobile to pick up, update and close tasks.

And because Vivantio Service Desk is a 100% web-based application, field staff can also use internet-connected computers at customer sites. All they need is access to a web browser.

Another way to keep in touch is via email. The system will automatically email field staff when a task is assigned to them or when any relevant information is added, and they can reply by email to update the information. Tasks can even be closed in this way.
